Independence

Science Porter Bangladesh separates fundraising and partnerships from editorial judgement. Partners and funders do not select stories, approve copy, or suppress corrections.

Standards

• Prefer primary sources, named experts, and clear uncertainty language
• Label news, features, explainers, opinion, and press materials distinctly
• Correct significant errors promptly and note them on the article page — see Corrections
• Disclose relevant conflicts of interest for authors and speakers
• Do not invent quotations from living people; paraphrase organisational positions carefully
